Jumpstart your job search and land a job you love
Have you hit a wall with your social impact job search? Are you ready to start looking for a new job, but not even sure where to start?
You’re not alone.
Let’s face it, job searching can be a frustrating and confusing process, especially when you’re looking for mission-driven work. Do any of these sound familiar?
- You want to be strategic with your job search, but you’re not sure how to maximize your time and energy. Every time you sit down to do some work, you feel paralyzed, like you’re not sure where to start or what to do first.
- Now that you’re advancing in your career, you want to be more intentional about the roles you pursue. You get that that applying to jobs online isn’t that effective, but you’re not sure how to find opportunities that you can get excited about (and that can pay the bills!).
- You’re struggling with telling your story, especially when your career path is a little…non-linear. You know you have lots of great skills and value to bring to an organization, but you’re not sure how to communicate them in an effective way.
- It seems like the “best practices” for things like resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn are changing all the time, and it’s virtually impossible to keep up. You know you need to be up on the latest trends, but Googling can only get you so far.
So you’re tired of feeling stuck, and putting in the time and work but not seeing results. You know something needs to change, but what?
Our Job Search Bootcamp course will give you the structure and tools you need to find and land a job you love.
I signed up for this course because I was striking out in the hyper-competitive space for the jobs I wanted. The course provided several wake up calls for me, including that what I thought was active job searching was actually “passive” job searching. As I changed my practices for engaging recruiters based on the guidance in the course, my results started changing too: I went from no interviews lined up to three in one week. Six weeks after starting the course, I landed an amazing remote data job for a national education non-profit. As a result of this course, I feel like I had a clear map with concise resources and tips to guide me through an unfamiliar and challenging time.”

Program overview
Are you ready to ramp up your job search or preparing to launch a search in the coming months? Do you want to work through all the great content included in our live Job Search Bootcamp program, on your own time? Our Job Search Bootcamp course is the solution.
Why a course?
We originally designed Job Search Bootcamp as a live group program, and we have been running it several times per year since 2016. It’s been a great success, however we’ve found that while the fast-paced format and live weekly meetings work well for many participants, they are not accessible to everyone. So we created a self-paced version of the program that you can complete when it works for you.
If you want to get started before our next live group begins, can’t attend meetings during the day, or want to work through the course material at your own pace, the Job Search Bootcamp course is for you!
This course includes all of our job search content, including six video modules and 40+ tools, templates, and guides. You can complete it at your own pace and on your own schedule and there’s no time limit, so you’ll have access to materials for as long as you need them (even for your future job searches!).

- Pre-reading and reflection questions, to prepare you for the topic we’ll be covering
- A video overview in each module with our top advice on each of these important job search topics
- Proprietary tools to help you prepare for and execute your search, from exercises that will help you establish your priorities and develop your career story to tactical tools to help you update your resume and LinkedIn profile

Frequently asked questions
How do I add 1:1 coaching sessions?
You will have the option to add a coaching session upon check out if you would like. If you’d like to add additional coaching sessions in the future, you’ll receive the details on how to do that after signing up.
How is this different from the live Job Search Bootcamp program?
While the content and materials are identical to what we use in the live program, there are a few important differences to keep in mind:
- This is a self-paced, online program: this means you’ll complete the work on your own schedule, and that you can work through it as quickly or slowly as you’d like instead of following the more rigid schedule of the live program. This program gives you flexibility and convenience, while still providing the great tools and resources that have made Job Search Bootcamp so popular!
- You’ll want to seek out additional accountability and feedback: job searching can be hard, and accountability is an important success factor. There are several activities in the course that we suggest you complete with a partner, and you’ll get the most from this experience if you gather and incorporate feedback from others. Accountability partners can be friends, colleagues, or family members; someone else who is currently job searching or has recently been through the process can make an especially helpful partner. We encourage you to reach out within our client community to find others who are also participating in this program to partner with!
How much time will I need to work on this?
Ultimately how much time you spend on the course will depend on how quickly you want to move, and how deeply you want to dive into the materials and resources. That said, to get the most from this material, a good ballpark is to plan to spend 3-4 hours on each module, including reading and watching materials and completing assignments. This is a general guideline, as some people choose to spend much more time with the materials, or to come back to them and refine them after moving through later modules of the course.
How long will it take me to complete the course?
That’s up to you! One of the biggest benefits of doing the self-study course is that you can complete it on your own pace and schedule. The course is set up in a six module framework and we suggest completing one module per week, however you are welcome to work through the program on a timeline that works for you. We do recommend doing some work each week to ensure you continue your momentum and progress.
What is the refund policy?
Because you receive instant lifetime access to all course materials upon signing up, there are no refunds available for this program. Please ensure you thoroughly review the information on this page prior to signing up, and contact us with any questions you have that aren’t addressed here.
